martian by michael bukowski

"They were, I now saw, the most unearthly creatures it is possible to conceive. They were huge round bodies—or, rather, heads—about four feet in diameter, each body having in front of it a face. This face had no nostrils—indeed, the Martians do not seem to have had any sense of smell, but it had a pair of very large dark-coloured eyes, and just beneath this a kind of fleshy beak." -H.G. Wells, War of the Worlds

this… this is just great.

oh look, it’s the Collector Trooper Display Team!
The bottom fellow was completely impervious to harm until the top one had been taken out (and only with multiple headshots), and powers couldn’t lock on to either of ‘em. Go figure.

Well i could have been a famous singer, if i had someone else’s voice; but failure’s always sounded better, let’s fuck it up, boys- make some noise!

Assassin’s Creed Movie Set In 15th Century Spain

Michael Fassbender, also known as ‘Fassy’ and ‘My Husbando’ by some people is set to don the Assassin’s robes for an all new Assassin’s Creed set for the big screen. Michael Fassbender, who’s co-producing the film through his DMC Film banner, will be taking on dual roles: as a Spanish assassin named Aguilar de Agarorobo, and his modern-day descendant, felon, and death row inmate, Michael Lynch.

The setting is all new, as the time and place have never been explored in any of the video game in the franchise. The film, however, like the video game series it was based on, will present historical characters. That said, the primary antagonist, given the setting, will be none other than Tomás de Torquemada, a Spanish Dominican friar and the first Grand Inquisitor of the Spanish Inquisition (not to mention the most famous.)

Justin Kurzel (Snowtown, MacBeth) is directing, and the film is slated to release on August 7th, 2015. No doubt, just in time for another new Assassin’s Creed game to strike current-gen consoles while the buzz is hot in Hollywood.

NOBODY EXPECTS DE TORQUEMADA… or the Fass actually.
Pretty stoked for this, think the Fass will make an awesome cross-temporal assassin; he always has that edge of crazy in pretty much every role he plays…
